Okey Remi’nin Türk versiyonudur ve geleneksel olarak 4 oyuncuyla 106 taştan oluşan bir takım kullanılarak oynanır. Taşlar 1’den 13’e kadar numaralanır ve ayrıca yine aynı yüz üzerinde kırmızı, boş, sarı ya da siyah olmak üzere renkli bir gösterge bulunur. Her sayıya ait 8 taş vardır ve her bir çift farklı bir renk kullanır. Okey kuralları çok basittir ve kendi kişisel stratejinizi çabukça geliştirmek çok kolaydır ve öğrenmek eğlencelidir çünkü sadece şans üzerine bile çok eğlendiricidir. Bu yönüyle diğer casino ve poker oyunlarına çok benzer.

Oyun taşların çekilmesi ve atılması üzerine oynanır. Amaç taşları açmaktır. ( belirli bir sırada dizmek ya da gruplamak ve masa uzerine yerleştirmek şeklinde). Bir oyuncu 14 taşın dizi ve serilere ayrıldığı ya da ya da her ikisi de aynı renk ve sayıda yedi çiftin olduğu bir ele sahipse kazanır. Okey oynarken açılımlar oyun boyunca gösterilmez ve sadece oyunun sonunda gösterilir – oyunculardan biri açtığında. Okey ayrıca 6 taraflı bir zarla oynanır, ki bu onu Remi’den farklı kılan yandır. Zar taşların nasıl dağıtılacağını belirler ve her elin başında atılır. Okey kuralları ‘na gore her oyuncu 20 puanla başlar ve oyun devam ettikçe puan kazanır ya da kaybeder.

Okey kuralları iki okeyin joker olarak kullanılmasını gerektirir. Birinci tür halihazırda mevcut olan boş taştır ve diğer okey her elde ilk açılan taşın ne olduğuna bağlı olarak belirlenir.
